A Vessel For Hate

The most recent former President is leading in polls. Yes he is.. This is despite some extraordinary realities about him as a man. 91 charges from insurrection to tax fraud and as Biden continues to preside over a successful economy, an historic pandemic recovery, an improved manufacturing result, hundreds of infrastructure improvements and demonstration of competent foreign policy chops, his deficit against a madman grows. The former President is frankly a vessel for hate, for racism, for xenophonia, for lies, for bigotry, for division, for business fraud, for the lowest common denominator of human frailty. He has no policy position, no moral compass, no instinct for decency or honor. Yet, he leads. This is more a reflection of what our country really stands for I suppose. To allow such a demon to survive politically and to see supporters of his depravity thrive makes us a very failed, inadequate society. Shame on us. One year to fix. We may be too late. I am a NJ resident and not a fan of former Governor Christie, but he isn't crazy. And he can't be bullied. And he is smart.
