I just finsished grading an essay in my AP Goverment class entitled "Why we don't vote?" The students handled it quite well having responded to my own frustrations about stupidity amongst the American electorate. If you continue to believe the polls, the Republicans are poised for the re-taking of the House and at this time of slow and steady progress, this is particularly bad for our country. Failed policies leading to recession, obstructionism of the highest order, mistruths, scary candidates and an absence of any plan, is what we will again get if the polls hold. Anger is one thing, stupidity is another. Where are you Americans for reason and truth?
